A service of thanksgiving
for the life of Roy Stafford

It is with great sadness that we announce that Roy Stafford passed away, peacefully at home, in the early hours of Wednesday 9th November 2022.

On Tuesday 29th November, a committal service for the family was held at a local crematorium, followed by a service of thanksgiving for Roy’s life at Christ Church in Ware.

The large crowd of friends and family gathered afterwards in the church hall for refreshments.

Donations and flowers

The family have asked, instead of flowers, for donations to be made to All Nations Christian College, where Roy and Jan taught, or to Bible Society, who published the Luo edition of the Bible that Roy and his team translated.
